WORKSHOP: Make a Translucent Bowl from Art Papers
Tuesday, October 22 • 11:00am–1pm

Each participant will take home two bowls made from paper or yarn. The bowls will be for decorative purposes, as they are delicate. You will need to allow them to dry more at home before removing them from the molds (provided).

Bring rice papers, art paper, or dried leaves or other snippets of yarn or tinsel that you might want to incorporate in the bowl - we will provide art papers for all, but if you bring something you like from home, you might find the creation a more personal expression. Perhaps you've saved wrapping papers because you just might use them again - this might be that opportunity!

Dress in clothes that you won't mind becoming adorned with a little glue, as it won't wash out once dry. Bring small scissors if you have them, as cutting out small shapes might be what you want to use. And if you don't have any white glue at home or modge podge of your own, bring a small pill bottle or other container to take a little home for any touch ups after you remove the bowl from the mold.
