WALK: Larkspur Landing Area
Tuesday, April 30 • 9:00–11:00am
NEW! Women’s Club members are invited to join the Ross Valley Walkers for an outing led by Helen Heitkamp and members of the Larkspur Heritage Board. The walk will explore the area, delving into the history and studying some of the architectural highlights of this area of Larkspur. During this walk, we’ll visit Larkspur Landing, a proposed location for the SMART station, the Cal Park tunnel, offices, apartments and historic schoolhouse. Learn how an old abandoned quarry got transformed into a new community and some of the challenges the area is facing today.
DETAILS
When: Tuesday, April 30, 9:00–11:00am (approximately, depending on the interests of the group).
Where: Start/end in front of the Cinemark movie theater (500 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur, CA 94939), which has ample parking.
How much: FREE!
— Questions or to RSVP, please email workshops@cmwomensclub.org
