WORKSHOP: How to fold a Danish* Paper Star

Tuesday, December 2, 2008
Participants had a hilarious time learning to make Danish paper stars from Denmark native and CMWIC member Rita Nattestad. All materials were provided. It was harder than it looked, but participants did succeed in making the stars amid much laughter and sharing.
*AKA a German Star, Froebel Star, or Eight-Pointed Star
— Missed it? See instructions (pdf) or mathematische-basteleien.de/froebelsstar.html
— Or watch the YouTube video that demonstrates how to make one (but this won’t be nearly as much fun as attending the workshop)!
