DiROSA PRESERVE (in Napa) - Tour and Picnic Lunch
Ever notice the wooden cut-outs of sheep on the Carneros Road (Hwy 12/121) from Sonoma to Napa? Wonder what is behind the gates? It is a fabulous, eclectic, sure-to-entertain collection of northern California artists’ works collected by Rene diRosa over many years and displayed in several different galleries including the original home of the di Rosa’s. One can only see the art on a docent-led tour, and we will do the one-hour introductory tour. We dare anyone to go through this collection without smiling at least once! The landscape is beautiful this time of year with the grape vines changing color. It promises to be an inspirational morning!

Where: DiRosa Preserve, 5200 Sonoma Highway Napa, California 94559 (get map & directions)
When: Wednesday, October 19, 2011
- 10:00am (sharp!) meet at CM Rec Center parking lot to carpool (tour begins at 11:00am at the preserve)
Cost: $10 admission; $7 for seniors over 65.
Bring: Bring a light lunch, and we will have a picnic!
