  4. JOANNIE LEVINSOHN:Water Conservation
Joannie’s passion is water conservation. She was driving down Tamalpais Dr. late one evening and was shocked at the amount of water that water that was being wasted by sprinklers spraying onto pavement. As she became more aware of this issue, she began to see irresponsible water use everywhere. She has been taking photographs of overwatering (water is running down sidewalks and streets into the stormdrains) and reporting it to businesses and also MMWD. She hopes to raise awareness of this issue with everyone and hopes that we all will report water waste when we see it.

The downside is that when she does her job well, she’s out of work, but she finds it immensely satisfying to move on to a new client.

These are unbelievably soft and SMALL and strong – six colorful, washable bags fit into a handy tote that actually fits into a cup holder in your car (if you are driving).
